Assess before planning
Training should address scar maturity, cause, location, texture, colour, sensitivity, previous treatment and clear reasons to postpone or request medical clearance.
Plan realistic camouflage
The aim is usually to reduce visible contrast, not erase the scar. Learners should plan blending, dot distribution and colour without making unsupported promises.
Practise safely
Machine control, cartridge selection, stabilisation, pigment handling, hygienic setup and aftercare should be developed through structured practice and appropriate supervision.
Check authoritative safety guidance
Course learning should be compared with current official guidance, product instructions and the rules that apply where you work. Review the authoritative scalp micropigmentation safety references and international-use note.
